You're Now Arriving In Burbank

After a stressful packing session on Saturday morning, My Mom, Brandon and I left to drop me off at my new home, in Burbank,CA. The 6 hour drive was rather easy (minus the heavy fog and crazy rain) and we made our usual stop at Harris Ranch. If you have never been to Harris Ranch and your ever driving I-5 (near Bakersfield) I suggest you stop in. The only not usual about this stop is the fact that CHP decided to pull me over for speeding. Personally, I compared to most of the drivers on I-5 I think I was going pretty slow, and I'm 90% sure i was in 70-80mph range. According to him, I was going 92-97 while he was following me! Now, here is my problem, I regularly check for highway patrol and did NOT see any in site and I also, always check my rear mirror to see if anyone behind me is riding my ass and i need to move over. For the few miles no one was behind me. I Only noticed him when I was getting on to the off ramp for Harris Ranch. Needless to say, I got a ticket and will now be waiting for my letter in the mail about how much my fine is and traffic school. CAN'T WAIT!

Around 7:30pm we arrived in Burbank and got me settled into my apartment. After we ate at Bob's Big Boy and then Brandon and I went and saw Avatar at The Burbank Town Center. For those people who rave and rant about how amazing Avatar is... I would like to ask them WHY?! The story line is UNORIGINAL,The Message is UNORIGINAL (and quite horribly liberal in my opinion) and it's WAY too long! The only thing cool about it, is the special effects, which we've seen before. You could just watch Disney's Pocahontas and you would have the same movie! Anyways, after that was done I took Brandon back to my apartment and I went to the hotel to sleep (Unsuccessfully).

So, now we are on to my day today. Today, we all went and had Breakfast at Paty's then went over to the Mall and shopped at IKEA, Surprisingly the experience was not horrendous and I am very pleased with what I got.(and Thankful, to My mom for getting me the stuff) After that it was grocery shopping at Vons, then back to the apartment for Good-Byes = ( I am sad that my mom and Brandon have left.. Yet, it is truly not hit me; that I am living on my own.

So now, I am laying on the floor, with my two cats, alone in an apartment, full of stuff yet to be unpacked and furniture yet to be assembled....

Good- Bye 2009..Hello,2010 - The End Of a Decade.

As I sit her on my couch at 4:24am, still a little bit intoxicated... I'm thinking back on the year and tonight and the future that 2010 holds....

First, I Cannot believe that it is an end of a decade! Seriously... I remember when it was 1999-2000 not only was that my 1st time experiencing an end of a decade, but a new century and a new millennium, as well as, Y2k. So, obviously the craziness of a new decade was greatly overshadow before and rightfully so, i think a new century, a new millennium and the idea of the world ending is a little more monumental and rarer then a new century. Never the less, the end of a decade, is still pretty cool. Speaking of rare i just realized there was a Blue moon tonight..which i did not look for.. dammit.

Ahh... So My New Year's... How else do I explain it.. I guess, the best word to describe it as was exceptional... not exactly what i had in mind for ringing in my new year, but I guess all that matters is I was with the man that I love and surrounded by friends. Also.. ladies their is a difference from getting drunk and having fun and maybe getting a little naughty; compared to getting absolutely trashed and acting like a complete, actually not even acting like one... being one. I will let it slide just this once.. assuming it's not an all the time type of thing, but let's try not to do it again. I've made some of these faux pas once, maybe even twice.. but honestly, full on making out, up against the wall, flashing your boobs, spreading your legs a little too far, freak dancing to the point where you might as well be having sex on the floor and grabbing guys penis' is NOT.. I repeat NOT ok. I won't even mention girls who try to steal boys from other girls (at least in depth).

Besides my exceptional New Years, which i really can't even begin to explain my night. I am moving in 9 days! AHHH! I don't know what I'm going to do with myself... i feel so unprepared and unorganized for the move. It will be a good thing, like a REALLY good thing for me. Just a tad bit nervous to go.

OK, going to crash. God I always have a lot to write out in my head and then I Start Typing and I don't even type out Half the things i want to say.. Annoying.

Random thought that just popped into my head.. why do we spell it OK and Okay?!

Why Not?

I have decided to take Blogging seriously, even if no one reads it. It is a magnificent way for me to vent and is like my online dairy. Although it isn't exactly private at all. Hopefully, I can keep this up. I am known to right several "blogs" and "notes" on facebook and myspace, but this way.. the only people who get bugged to read this.. are the people who choose to read this.

I am now 20. Which is not old at all, yet makes me feel old. I am truly an adult and am no longer a teenager. I have taken a sucessful year.. pretty much 2 years off from school and will no be beginning it again in Los Angeles... Technically, Valley Village... but whatever, same area. I will be moving out from home and living alone for at LEAST a good 6 months. I've been waiting for this moment forever and now that it gets closer, i'm absolutely terrified. This also means leaving my Fiance... who i've spent basically every moment with since he came home from the marines in July. I spent months with out him.. and he's finally home and i'm leaving! Although i know we're strong enough to make it and that we both made this decision together, I really am dreading the idea of leaving him now. Oh, growing up.. why do you have to be so hard?!

I don't have much to tell you, my life isn't exciting at all really... but i shall part with these 2 things...
If you're in the San Jose Area and Need An Amazing hair cut that won't empty your pockets go to Nicole Hoke at Antoni Perez in Willow Glen. I LOVE HER. Also, Amanda Gabbard at James Craig in Saratoga.. she's who i go to when i need my hair cut ASAP and Nicole is Booked. Both Girls are talented and friendly.
