This Saturday Morning I woke up to the sound of rain and darky gloom.. that I love so much about this time of year...the only sucky thing about the scenario is that I have a cold. Anyways, The morning started with my craving for a Caramel Apple Spice Cider from Starbucks... and I was excited to get it with my "Free Birthday Drink" Coupon from Starbucks, however it seems to have gone missing. Luckily I remembered I had a gift card to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. So, I went to Coffee Bean and got myself a Peppermint Chocolate Ice Blended. Now, although I have nothing against Coffee Bean, and my drink is rather yummy.. I still prefer Starbucks, Anyways, With the ambience of the rain that makes you want to curl up in bed and with the fact that I have a cold, which also makes you want to curl up in bed.. I decided, That I will indeed curl up in bed, and have a movie marathon day. So, that is what I am doing.. Watching as many movies as I can... with a little reading in between.
8:30 AM - Notting Hill
10:30 AM - Liberty's Kids S1 Ep. 1 (ok it isn't a movie but I got excited to see that it was on netflix)
10:52 AM - Liberty's Kids S1 Ep. 2
11:16 AM - When In Rome
1:11 PM - Julie & Julia
3:55 PM - Liberty's Kids S1 Ep. 3
4:19 PM - The Duchess
6:51 PM - The Count of Monte Cristo
and I think that is where my magical movie journey shall end for the night = )

Twenty-One
Hello Party People!
Starting off first.. I have a joint blog with my fiance.. so If anyone.. and my anyone I mean ONE... of you readers would like to check it our... please feel free to do...
http://brandongregorio.blogspot.com/
Now, off to my thoughts going on in my brain now.. So much. I just posted my 1st blog entry on my joint blog and that is exciting...
I am Now home in Toluca Lake and having a blast. A lot to say really and I'm sure, I will forgot half the things I wanted to say while typing this. We will start off with my Trip to San Jose... 2 weeks ago I made a trip to San Jose.. For several reasons.. My Mom's birthday.. she turned a beautiful 30 years old and honestly hasn't aged a day! ; ).. on top of that was my brother in-law Nick's Graduation and Going Away Party (to boot camp) and Linnea asked me to baby sit Alec and Makenna Memorial Weekend. Which I was glad to do. My trip started a little drive back the 7th (Monday). Brandon was with me the weekend before for our 1 year of engagement so on the 24th (monday) I decided to drive up with him and than fly back down on the 8th (tuesday). We scrambled to clean, my house... pack and get our kitties all situated....this was the longest I had ever left them on their own. The trip ended up being pretty much a bust... Minus hanging out with B mostly. Brandon and I both had to work the night of Nick's Graduation.. which, we were okay with cause we'd make it up to him by being at his grad. party.. which Nick than decided he didn't want because he wasn't going to join the marines anymore! So besides My mom's birthday and babysitting.. I had come up for nothing... I for the most part enjoyed the trip though and came home Tuesday night(the 8th) to 2 alive cats and a surprisingly STILL clean place.
What else...what else. I have seen 3 movies since the trip and now. Killers (with Brandon, Tim Burton's/Disney's Alice In Wonderland and Shutter Island. Killers was a decently good and funny movie.. probably not worth what we paid, since we watched the movie in Oakridges XD theater... (Which is a bigger screen, more seats, and WAY more comfortable seats) The movie could have been a little bit longer and had more actual plot to it.. but it was the perfect date movie for Brandon and I. Alice in Wonderland was alright has well.. Visually it was stunning and the story line was really good, but I'm glad I waited to watch it OnDemand than see it in theaters. I have never been a huge fan of Alice In Wonderland though.. so, I didn't have high expectations in the first place.. Then, there was Shutter Island. Which was a great psychological thriller and Martin Scorcese can do no wrong. It is NOT as scary as it portrays it to be and is definitely an intriguing movie.
Also, Since I have been home.. I have finished reading L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad. Which was a decent book. Not a MUST read but nice, light, fun read for us girls. Than I read The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyers. For those, who don't know the book. It's really a "short story" about one of the newborns from the Twilight Sagas: Eclipse. It is basically shows the newborns story.point of view.. instead of Bella's. I originally found out about the book from Perez Hilton.. Saying that as a gift to her followers Stephenie Meyers put the short story up for free on the website... I being the OCD weird person I am debated if I wanted to actual buy the book or read it for free. A few things made my Decision. 1. I prefer reading actual BOOKS 2. It wasn't expensive and money from the book went to the American Red Cross and 3. I just wanted to complete collection for my series.. even if it wasn't the actual saga books it tied into them. Overall I enjoyed the book more than I though I would. Now, I am beginning to read Love The One Your With by Emily Giffin. If you have read my blogs, you may notice this name come up often.. I have become a big fan of her books because, they are real woman, and real woman experiences and thoughts and it's funny. I am excited to start this book, and just as excited to discover she has a new book out as well.
Oh, those sleeping pills are definitely kicking in now... being home Has been Nice.. not too eventful but nice. I have been going on my walks, which keep me in shape and get me out of those house.. Today, on my walk so many people slowed their cars down to point, wave and take pictures of me.. I guess they thought I was famous.. which is funny cause i'm NOT.. but I didn't ruin their fun.. I just smiled and waved back.. (btw I had a hat and sunglasses on..so my face wasn't exactly clear)Friday (the 11th) I drove down to Irvine and enjoyed the day with Natasha and Her friend Bobby. We shopped, ate and talked. GOOD DAY. It was really fun, especially all the dumb jokes that natasha and I make up. Hmm.. besides that nothing TOO crazy. Alright... can barely keep my eyes open.. NIGHT!
HAHA WOW... I ended and than posted this without even addressing what my actual Title means. 21. I turn 21 in roughly 4 months! So this is a crazy night and fun night for most people. However here is my Delemma.... my 21st birthday falls on a MONDAY! Uhm, people, have school, work, etc. So... that won't be too fun. I'm also, the only one of my friends who will be 21. So, simple solituion would be have your birthday at a places that serves alcohol but I can still have underage people with me.. I.E. a resturant of some sorts and Just have my birthday later in the weekend... the latter issue is the real problem. My birthday is only 6 days away from Halloween, so most people will be in Santa Barbara.. so I will have to celebrate it a week...2 weeks,, after my real 21st... THAN I realize that I only have 3 best friends. Natasha,Brandon and Natalie. and Natalie will be in England. Leaving.. just Natasha,Brandon and I.. which actually isn't a HUGE problem.. but I want my closest friends there and I want a PARTY. lol. I'm sure I will figure this issue out.. but it was just something that was bothering me! Okay, Night for REALS

Long Time....
I Don't Even Know, Why I'm Posting a Blog really... but, I guess.. it's because it has almost been a month since I posted. Although, I doubt... anyone was fretting that I haven't written a blog in a few weeks.. nor do I think anyone besides my mom actually read my Blogs. In case you didn't notice I tend to Have a need to Capitalize letters in words that do not NEED to be capitalized. I just do it, I don't know why.. it's more of a compulsion.
BLAH, So.. I have been pretty much sick on and off these past few weeks. Which is basically why, I have not written yet. So as far as school is concerned, it has been fine. As far as job searching has been.. EH! I guess my problem is because I don't want a typical job. I refuse to work at a restaurant again. I NEED experience, I need to be able to put something else on my resume, besides being a waitress. I need creditability. Minus, jobs in general being scarce; it is hard to find a job I want. Then, if I do find a job I want, that meets most of my requirements. Something gets in the way.. such a SCHOOL. Which is annoying, since I am going to school to get better jobs.. oh the Irony. .
On top, being sick has ruined my sleep schedule. So, now i'm tired all day and up all night!
I have read many books Since we have last chatted. I have read "My Sister's Keeper" and "Dear John". I loved loved loved loved loved "My Sister's Keeper" it was perfect and the ending was just unexpected. However, I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE the movie, to anyone who has seen the movie and thought they now have "read" the book, WRONG. The movie is absolutely NOTHING like the movie. Basically, the director, producer, screenwriter, whatever thought it would be nice to the have a famous bestselling book as the title of there movie take the basic concept of the movie and then change everything to what they wish the book had been. It was really horrible. I was disappointed in the actors as well. Alec Baldwin,Cameron Diaz, and Abigail Breslin, did an okay performance, definitely not up to their caliber of acting and then worse of all that they would even sign on to do this movie!
and for the acclaim that the movie Dear John has been getting (which I have not seen) I did not fall in love with the book, so maybe the movie will do something for me. Now I'm reading, "Baby Proof" by Emily Giffin and it took awhile for me to get into, but now I am really enjoying it. I like Emily Giffin's books and writing A LOT.
Mmh, Tired. Good Night.

You're Now Arriving In Burbank
After a stressful packing session on Saturday morning, My Mom, Brandon and I left to drop me off at my new home, in Burbank,CA. The 6 hour drive was rather easy (minus the heavy fog and crazy rain) and we made our usual stop at Harris Ranch. If you have never been to Harris Ranch and your ever driving I-5 (near Bakersfield) I suggest you stop in. The only not usual about this stop is the fact that CHP decided to pull me over for speeding. Personally, I compared to most of the drivers on I-5 I think I was going pretty slow, and I'm 90% sure i was in 70-80mph range. According to him, I was going 92-97 while he was following me! Now, here is my problem, I regularly check for highway patrol and did NOT see any in site and I also, always check my rear mirror to see if anyone behind me is riding my ass and i need to move over. For the few miles no one was behind me. I Only noticed him when I was getting on to the off ramp for Harris Ranch. Needless to say, I got a ticket and will now be waiting for my letter in the mail about how much my fine is and traffic school. CAN'T WAIT!
Around 7:30pm we arrived in Burbank and got me settled into my apartment. After we ate at Bob's Big Boy and then Brandon and I went and saw Avatar at The Burbank Town Center. For those people who rave and rant about how amazing Avatar is... I would like to ask them WHY?! The story line is UNORIGINAL,The Message is UNORIGINAL (and quite horribly liberal in my opinion) and it's WAY too long! The only thing cool about it, is the special effects, which we've seen before. You could just watch Disney's Pocahontas and you would have the same movie! Anyways, after that was done I took Brandon back to my apartment and I went to the hotel to sleep (Unsuccessfully).
So, now we are on to my day today. Today, we all went and had Breakfast at Paty's then went over to the Mall and shopped at IKEA, Surprisingly the experience was not horrendous and I am very pleased with what I got.(and Thankful, to My mom for getting me the stuff) After that it was grocery shopping at Vons, then back to the apartment for Good-Byes = ( I am sad that my mom and Brandon have left.. Yet, it is truly not hit me; that I am living on my own.
So now, I am laying on the floor, with my two cats, alone in an apartment, full of stuff yet to be unpacked and furniture yet to be assembled....
